DUI/DWI PRE-COURT EVALUATION
An assessment may be provided in advance of the court date at the request of a defendant who has been charged with an alcohol or drug related driving offense, or at the request of his/her attorney. The ASAP specialist evaluates the client's substance abuse pattern, efforts made to mitigate any substance abuse problems since arrest, and an assessment of the client's risk for repeat offenses if placed on probation. If the offender is referred by the court to ASAP probation, the $150 fee is not applicable to the full ASAP fee.
